Media Seeking Sob Stories – Do Not Respond!

After 30 consecutive months of publishing one of two false Associated Piss narratives, Yahoo! News has suddenly discovered we have a long-term unemployment problem.

In a laughably, equally false gesture of solidarity, they published today an outreach story by Zachary Roth inviting the audience to share their unemployment stories (about 19 months after Rush Limbaugh beat them to it on his radio show).

The two false media narratives are:

“The number of people applying for unemployment benefits / seeking work rose “unexpectedly” last week …”

OR

“The number of people applying for unemployment benefits / finding work fell last week, a new sign that the economy is recovering …

… which is usually printed one week before they report (or fail to report) that the Labor Department adjusted their figures to show that the numbers had actually remained stagnant or risen.

Don’t rush to answer and publicly air your grief. Remember two other important details:

1. This is the liberal media. They don’t really care what sob story you have to offer them; they’re interested in massive amounts of feedback to illustrate the size and scope of their audience to advertisers (as am I, except that I am not also a partisan branch of the liberal mob).

2. The White House and the Democrat Party took audacity to new heights last week, accusing congressional Republicans of purposefully sabotaging the Obama Recovery and keeping unemployment high.

SOOOO ….

Follow the logic here. If you see this article and respond with your unemployed sob story, Yahoo! Snooze will gladly publish it.

Then, just hours or days later, they will publish new stories covering Democrat politicians accusing Republicans of sabotaging the economic recovery in order to win the White House in 2012.

And presto, unsuspecting Americans, many of them conservatives, will participate in the propaganda “connection” between GOP sabotage and high unemployment. You’ll be instrumental in your own undoing!

That is, of course, unless you’ve been dutifully listening to the Knightly Show and following the comments, discussion posts and blogs at the Ever Red State Network.
